Guido Kerpel, COO of New Castle Hotels and Resorts, a leading hotel owner, operator and developer, today announced the promotions of Denise McNeil and Don Urbahn.
Denise McNeil has been promoted to vice president, digital strategy and ecommerce. McNeil began her career at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel in revenue management, expanding her role over the years to include digital strategy for New Castle Hotels Canadian properties. In her new role, McNeil will assume responsibility leading ecommerce and digital marketing efforts for the New Castle portfolio, both in the U.S. and Canada.
Don Urbahn has the new title of vice president, revenue management and market analytics. His new role will be expanding his efforts into development utilizing his experience in market and data analysis keeping his eye on the revenue management efforts for the portfolio. Urbahn joined the company in 1999 as a general manager and in 2007 was promoted to corporate director, a position he held until 2011 when he was promoted to vice president of revenue management. Prior to joining New Castle, Urbahn was a general manager with Vista Host Hotel Group.
Kerpel is confident these changes will position the company to address the challenges of today’s hospitality environment, while preparing New Castle for future growth.
